About Me

I’m Ian, and I first got into a kart when I was three. I can’t remember a particular moment when I decided to become a racing driver. I just wanted to get faster with every race.

I grew up in Belgium, dividing my time between school, my dad’s workshop and karting tracks. My family has been beside me every step of the way. Working in the Van Amersfoort Racing simulator gave me the chance to learn from engineers working across Formula 4 through to Formula 2. That’s where I learned to explain what I feel behind the wheel and understand how a driver and car work together to find more performance.

At 14 years and eight days old, I made my Ginetta Junior Championship debut with Elite Motorsport. I started fourteenth and finished seventh. At Brands Hatch, I finished seventh again.

My favourite part is being on track when the lights go out and we all get going. I like having other cars around me, looking for a chance to overtake and working my way forward. That’s when I feel most at home.

My days start early with school, followed by preparation for racing. My dream is Formula 1, and as I work towards it, I want to keep improving with every race.

For the 2027 season, we’re looking to work with businesses that want to support a young Romanian racing driver and build a partnership with us. My dad, Sebastian Danicska, can tell you more about our plans and partnership opportunities.
